Contact Lens Scheme

CL Scheme – NEW

£9 per month contact lens professional fee service scheme

What that covers

  • Unlimited and unrestricted eye care including:
  • All routine & non-routine contact lens appointments
  • All contact lens trial fees costs if changing lenses
  • Discounted trial appointment cost of our NEW ORTHO K contact lens vision correction treatment. Click here for more details.
  • All contact lens related ocular issues taken care of by our prescribing optometrist (*see below)

  • NEW – Non-NHS Enhanced eye examinations – all scheme patients will now get an enhanced eye exam.

This consists of: longer eye exam duration, wider choice and often sooner availability on appointment times and includes a choice of either ultra-wide field Optomap retinal imaging or our advanced 3D OCT-A scanning technology – our optometrist can advise on the most appropriate for you.

  • 20% discount on all complete frame and lens purchases across our full range – excluding our budget package.

  • 10% discount on all of our prescription and non-prescription sunglasses range.

  • All contact lenses pre-ordered and ready for collection in practice. No pre-ordering or waiting for delivery required, giving full flexibility on lens purchase frequency.

  • Heavily discounted lens purchase costs. Please ask us for a quote on the cost of your individual lenses as we often are cheaper than any internet-based lens provider with no delivery charge. We can provide a scheduled home delivery service for an additional fee.

*Our CUES emergency eyecare service specifically does NOT cover contact lens (CL) related ocular problems. Should you be a CL patient from elsewhere and not on our CL care scheme, then any issues will need to be resolved by your own fitting optician e.g. emergency CL removal, CL related eye infections, fitting advice, CL refits etc.

This is a service specification of the emergency eyecare CUES contract that all participating opticians adhere to.

Our prescribing optician can NOT manage CL related issues that have arisen from a fitting performed elsewhere. The only exception is that should there be a genuine sight threatening emergency AND we have received a referral from another optical practice or the hospital eye department then we will provide prescribing assistance for the best interests of the patient.
